The rules set out in regarding the protection of the rights and freedoms of individuals, in particular their right to the protection of personal data concerning them, should be specified in this Regulation with regard to the responsibility for the processing of the data, safeguarding the rights of data subjects and supervising data protection, in particular as far as certain sectors are concerned.
