(1) in Article 11, the following paragraph is inserted:
‘6a. For the purpose of proceeding with the verifications referred to in Article 20(2), second subparagraph, point (k), the automated verifications pursuant to paragraph 1 of this Article shall enable the Central System to query Eurodac established by of the European Parliament and of the Council (*), with the following data provided by applicants under Article 17(2), points (a) to (d) of this Regulation:
(a) surname (family name), first name(s) (given name(s)), surname at birth, date of birth, place of birth, sex, current nationality;
(b) other names (alias(es), artistic name(s), usual name(s)), if any;
(c) other nationalities, if any;
(d) type, number, the country of issue of the travel document.

(2) in Article 25a(1), the following point is inserted:
‘(f) the data referred to in Articles 17, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 26 of .’;
(3) in Article 88, paragraph 6 is replaced by the following:
‘6. shall start operations irrespective of whether interoperability with Eurodac or is put in place.’.
