In order to achieve the objectives of the screening, a stronger framework for close cooperation should be ensured between the competent national authorities referred to in the provision on implementation of control of , the authorities responsible for asylum procedures and reception of applicants, the authorities responsible for the protection of public health and the authorities responsible for carrying out return procedures respecting . Member States should be allowed to avail themselves of the support of the relevant agencies, in particular the European Border and Coast Guard Agency established by of the European Parliament and of the Council (12) (the ‘European Border and Coast Guard Agency’) and the European Union Agency for Asylum established by of the European Parliament and of the Council (13) (the ‘European Union Agency for Asylum’), within the limits of their mandates. Member States should involve national child protection authorities and national authorities in charge of detecting and identifying victims of trafficking in human beings wherever the screening reveals facts relevant for trafficking in line with of the European Parliament and of the Council (14).
