In order to provide a timely response to the situation of migratory pressure, the EU Solidarity Coordinator should support the swift relocation of applicants for and beneficiaries of international protection eligible for relocation. The benefitting Member State should draw up a list of eligible persons to be relocated, with the assistance of the Asylum Agency if requested and should be able to use tools developed by the EU Solidarity Coordinator. Persons to be relocated should be given the opportunity to provide information on the existence of meaningful links with specific Member States but should not have the right to choose a specific Member State of relocation.
