Crisis and Force Majeure Regulation:
Recital 36

To ensure the smooth implementation of the solidarity mechanism under this Regulation, the EU Solidarity Coordinator should, in addition to the tasks laid down in Regulation (EU) 2024/1351Asylum And Migration Management Regulation, support relocation activities and promote a culture of preparedness, cooperation and resilience among Member States. In a situation of crisis, the EU Solidarity Coordinator should, every two weeks, provide a bulletin on the state of the implementation and functioning of the relocation mechanism. The office of the EU Solidarity Coordinator should be provided with sufficient staff and resources to effectively fulfil its role under this Regulation. When implementing relocation, primary consideration should be given to vulnerable persons.
